Career Expo Preparation

Preparation is critical when attending the Career Expo. Employers are expecting that you dress professionally and bring your resume. Hiring managers may want to interview you, so do your homework and come prepared!

  1. Build a Resume!
    In addition to over 90,000 job postings, career exploration, and labor market Information, JobCenterofWisconsin.com also offers tools to build a resume and post it for employers to see. If you already have a resume, you can upload and share it with employers.
  2. Get Expert Advice
    Stop by your local Job Center to speak with a Career Specialist. Our experts can give you tips and tricks on how to navigate the Career Expo, as well as review your resume to ensure it catches the eyes of hiring managers. Career Specialist can help you perfect your interviewing skills. Tools like InterviewStream also are available to help you gain confidence when answering interview questions. Below is a list of our Job Centers and their hours of operation.
