In the month of October, DWD and its regional partners offer employers in the Green Bay and Milwaukee metropolitan areas two rare opportunities to take workforce recruitment to a new level. In a single day at one location, Green Bay area employers in all sectors will have an opportunity to meet work-ready job seekers who have demonstrated to workforce development staff that they meet specific criteria that we know employers are seeking. The Milwaukee Health Care Career Expo similarly is an opportunity for Milwaukee metro area health care employers to connect with work-ready job seekers and fill a wide variety of positions in their medical facilities. Focused, targeted, both Career Expos accelerate the recruiting process, as they are open only to employers with jobs to fill and to job seekers pre-screened by workforce development staff and determined to be qualified, work-ready candidates.
